And since I'm sure someone will ask... THIS book: http://www.aboveroute.com/cgi-bin/s/s1_jum...Fpf_id%3D220775

js4496
I have a copy. When I first started playing Morrowind, I mainly used it as a last resort when I couldn't find some location after searching for a long time. It also comes in handy when you've stumbled onto a place, and you want to know if the location is part of a quest. I've had a few "broken" quests because I've either found something I need later and can't remember where I sold or put it, or killed someone I'd need to have some kind of interaction with at a later time. It lists all the creatures, locations, ingredients, weapons and armor, factions, and secret masters. It lists all the quests by Main, Faction, and Miscellaneous. There is also a chapter of things to do after you've beaten the game. Of course the book only covers the original Morrowind game. I don't use it very much anymore, since Tribunal and Bloodmoon were released, and I mainly do "mod " quests anymore. It is nice to have though. thanateros
nope don't have, glad of it too. If i have a problem someone on these fine forums will surely answer your question(s) and point your head in the right direction. If i were i would save my money, there's a lot published out there on the net, just search for Morrowind Walkthroughs if you really need it. the best part of this game (i think) is not knowing what quest is coming up, what item is in that locked chest, and where to get those artifacts. Random luck is always a reason to jump out of ones chair and then tell your roomate you were just having a minor seizure

GrizzlyUK
Just got a copy today (bought via E-Bay coz it's not available outside North America) and it's impressive. The maps show all locations along with info about any quests etc associated with the location, walkthroughs for the Main Quest, all Faction quests, Miscellaneous Quests, Quests by Region, Quests by Theme, Romance Quests and loads of other stuff. I've seen a lot of info available on the 'net but some of the stuff in this book I've never seen anywhere else!
j0ckser
Just got a copy today (bought via E-Bay coz it's not available outside North America) and it's impressive. The maps show all locations along with info about any quests etc associated with the location, walkthroughs for the Main Quest, all Faction quests, Miscellaneous Quests, Quests by Region, Quests by Theme, Romance Quests and loads of other stuff. I've seen a lot of info available on the 'net but some of the stuff in this book I've never seen anywhere else! What he said. I did 2 'false start' runs at the game - didn't like my character, etc. Then did a 3rd run and finished the Main Quest and several Faction Quests. All the while I was a member of a forum and received good information, but always wondered if I wasn't "missing stuff". I purchased MWP as a Christmas present for myself and am very glad I did. My 4th run has been very much enhanced by using the book (it's falling apart), and I still use it to provide counselling to members of the various (now 5) forums I inhabit. I detest getting lost, and there are many, many out of the way tombs and caves that I would never have found, had it not been for the book identifying where they were and how to get there from my current location. Of course with all the mods coming out (including Tribunal and Bloodmoon) and the very ambitious Tamriel Rebuilt, the book becomes less and less useful, but for the starting player it is indepensible. WARNING: The book does contain a few errors; apparently it was printed during beta phase and no addenda printed to cover final changes.
FabFour
I never got it, and I'm glad I never bought it, I like to find out stuff by myself :)
Guest
Well I guess for my first post I will chime in here! I just bought the game about 3 weeks ago and bought MWP last friday. I for one like strat guides (played Diablo 2 and got both guides for it) for the info that helps decide on your char that you dont get in the manual (like race Attributes). I will only use the Quest sections when I get totaly wrapped and cant figure out what needs to be done. I was in Vivec and was getting pissed cause I could not navagate it correctly and kept walking in circles! The maps of Vivec are going to be handy when i go back there. So IMO it was worth the money payed for it. ~http://jammerbabe.com/images/Smiley/irish.gif~
