I think I've totally ****** GECK

basically I've been working on two new weapons, when someone asked me to make them compatible with RH_ironsights

to try to figure out what RH_ironsights does is term of what file it changes I deleted out all the sub-folders from data as well as all all non basic esp and bsa

so now all that's in my data folder is the original fallout3 and dlc esp and bsa.

Now GECK is ****** and when I try to run it I get the inital GECK loading pic, then an empty window appears, then a warning window with this message "Garden of Eden Creation Kit has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

and it closes.

 

tried unistalling and reinstalling GECK, same resault.

 

Any ideas?

Yeah, sounds like you may need to reinstall Fallout3 then Geck (you might've deleted a Fallout3 file that Geck needs)

That's what I've had to do as fallout3 was also borked :sweat: that'll teach me for just deleteing stuff without backing it up.

 

 

EDIT: Ok wipeing the lot and totally reinstalling fixed it.
