Peabot Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Ok, so I've updated my drivers to ATI 7.2, set the graphic on "high" in the game and adjusted the screen light to very bright.. Still every character in the game (except for Sten and Morrigan) have black eyes (see the screenshot on Alistair below)! And it annoys me to no end! :verymad: Has this something to do with my computer being too old (it's a Dell Dimension 8400)? Something I need to update? The game runs perfectly except for this weird bug.. Help me? Cheers // Sagahttp://i43.tinypic.com/2rgj3g4.jpg
ShapezAT Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Did u put the Texture Detail to Medium or High also, or just the Graphic Details ?

I have Graphic Details on "high" and the Texture Detail on "medium", I tried to put it to "high" but it didn't work. It went down to "medium" by itself..
Peabot Posted April 19, 2010 Author Posted April 19, 2010 Do you have any mods installed? Yes, but I uninstalled and deleted them all from the core/override folder to check if there was some mod making the eyes black, but even with every mod gone they are still black.
Sferzar Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 It could be that you somehow got rid of the eye colors files when you deleted the mods. Usually eyes go black when the game can't find the color that it needs.

Do you know how I could find the eye color files again..? It's weird though that both Morrigan's and Sten's eye color show... Isn't it?
ell46 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 I've got the same problem, I hope someone comes up with a solution or at least how to check if the eye files are missing, even that would be a solution even if we can't download them from somewhere.
DarkeWolf Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Morrigan and Sten don't use the typical eyes, which is why their's are still ok. Humans, elves, and dwarves in the game use eye colors (tints) which are listed in the chargen files. Morrigan, Sten, darkspawn, dragons, wolves, demons, etc use different files to control the eyes.

Logically then if we downloaded and installed the PTs Vibrant eyes that should fix the problem, I have tried that but they don't work either, which I thought was strange unless it's that damned patch. yes it's me again, I've still got the problem.
