Help Appreciated folks

Recommended Posts

So as the sub-title suggests I've been getting CTD upon initiating Vats. Not sure what could be the problem, I've tried removing the latest mods I've added since I first got the issue, but the problem continues. Strange the Vats worked in the tutorial form but not once I've beaten the Vault prelude if you will. Not sure if you need "Load Order Report" but here's my load order via FOMM screenshot:

(This is after I removed a few mods)

ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated is on and bInvalidateOlderFiles is set to 1

Here are my specs in case you guys are wondering:

So by the looks of it (mind you I have a barbarians mind for anything technical :P) I believe my pc is pretty well equipped to run F3 fine. Of course correct me if I'm wrong. Any help would be appreciated and I'd be more then happy to answer any questions if it means resolving this issue. :)

just for safety, reload your tutorial save and check vats again.

If it crashes, its something you added or a game setting (likely in the fallout3.ini) got changed.

For clarification.. am I reloading the save I'm currently using and trying vats again or am I to try the vats from the tutorial? If the latter I'm afraid I have no saves from the tutorial, but I can make a new one just to see if it works. At this point I'm guessing I messed up a setting in the Fallout3.ini as I neglected to mention I got a UI mod that required I adjust a setting. I may have added a 1 where I wasn't supposed to, but mind you the UI is working fine. For any those wondering I'm using this modification. :)
