Deleted5770650User
Well the only things that I know of that can cause this areSomehow missing prerequisites, this includes directx.Load order has a missing master. This is unlikely but this can also be caused if one of the vanilla Skyrim files is missing. Mods can also cause this. With out the needed information about your computer and Skyrim install no one can help more at this point. HujinoKun
i think, it is my sound, because i have last update direct x, after crash, steam dl file missing, but same problem, always ...
Deleted5770650User
If you think it is a sound issues because of the comment about 24bits, 44100Hz I highly doubt that is the issue. Every PC I play Skyrim on I change the default sound format to 24Bits, 192000Hz and have no problems from that.Unless you actually download directx and installed it from that you could still be missing files from directx. I had an issue once that was very similar to yours steam installed directx and the other prerequisites, but skyrim would not run. I fixed by updateing directx. Unless you provide the information asked for the best you can get is people guessing and probably getting no real help.If you are not willing to try what is suggested then there is really no reason to ask for help. Valkasha
Do you have a legal version of skyrim?
Deleted5770650User
Do you have a legal version of skyrim? If you are asking me, yes I do. The directx error for me was caused by reinstalling windows but not Skyrim as Skyrim and Steam are on a different drive then windows.
gandalftw
If you think it is a sound issues because of the comment about 24bits, 44100Hz I highly doubt that is the issue. Every PC I play Skyrim on I change the default sound format to 24Bits, 192000Hz and have no problems from that.Well it was an issue in my case, when Skyrim was first released i was getting random CTD's.During certain sound effects my game would freeze and CTD.(Yes,i know i could indeed start the game) I checked my sound settings and found, for some reason, that my sound was set on 16Bit 44100 (cd quality). Setting my sound to 24Bit solved my CTD problem.I didn't say it had to be 44100Hz i meant for him to see if it was 24Bit and he had already said he thought it was a sound issue before i suggested it. Posted 06 August 2014 - 05:41 PMhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_images/underground/bullet_black.pngverify my game and steam found 1 folder lost and steam dl but same error all the time, maybe it's sounds <<I've never had a Directx error so there you go.... Oh and i too have a legal version, inspector Valkasha. Edited August 10, 2014 by gandalftw
