My Modded Races Arent Showing Up On The Create You Character Menu

I have a problem, My Modded Races Arent Showing Up On The Create You Character Menu. Are they supposed too? Cuz I dont see my Lycanthrope race or my anwolf race, I just see the regular ones. Someone please help me

in the section Text Data, did you tick the little box that says Playable? It's to the right of the race name.

Wheres the Text Data section in the DATA folder may I ask?

no, no its in the CS ( i presume you used this to make your race? )

Load your .esp in the Construction Set and click in Character, then on race, a list of all playable races will show on the left, highlight your race ( if there ) and at the top click on the Text Data tab, the Playable button is in there.

Ummm I'm a HUGE noob to Oblivion and...what is a CS? and must I do this in-game?

if you want to add a playable race to Oblivion you need to use this.

You can add the new eyes, hair, mesh or textures to your race in here, and make them playable, takes a bit of working out though.

Will this help me add that race I wanted into Oblivion? If so, can you tell me how to use TES Construction please?

As far as i know this is the only thing you can use to add a playable race to Oblivion.

there are tutorials on this and i will hunt down what i can for you, will take a little time though, give me say, half an hour.

This is by far the best, bit if a mine field at first but just stick with it and you will do fine.

Try one of the simpler tutorials first to get a feel for it, then progress to the harder one's later, you can alter almost every aspect of Oblivion from in here.

If you get stuck pls feel free to PM me, and i will try to help if i can ( dont know anything about Mesh and Textures though ), but bear in mind i am still quite new at this myself.

I dont WANT to make a mod (Not yet of course) I want to ADD a mod into the game, will you tell me? or is it in those tut's?
