draugrfartlord Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) Hello everyone.I have downloaded a mod to disable the console some time ago (Its been like a year or so actually). I didn't go into the Skyrim Data Files directory again after that, downloading my mods from the steam workshop. However, when i opened the Data files directory today to delete that mod, (It was like a standard procedure i used on my old computer to get out of stupid places when i was stuck. Delete the mod's file witch was a modified version of the skyrim 'Interface' file, so when launched the game the menu would have Dollar signs in the end of every word, Do what i need to do and re-install the mod.) i found that it was a little different than last time. It didn't have any of the files that it used to have, and the Interface file was completely gone without any In-game Dollar signs. I also can't just revert to a past save because my last save is a few hours apart from where i got stuck. If you need any more information, I will try my best to provide it(I'm a noob at this kind of stuff). I will attach a Screenshot of what files are present when i open the Data files. (I run Win 8 if you need to know) Thank you. Edit: To be specific, It was this mod i downloaded: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6859/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D6859&pUp=1 Edited August 7, 2014 by draugrfartlord
Deleted5770650User Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Based on that screen shot it looks to me like you need to verify local data in steam. Is that the Skyrim install directory? If so where is skyrim.esm, update.esm, etc?

I will try to verify local data and let you know if it changes anything. Edit: Problem solved. My stupidity. Turns out the Creation Kit directory is also named Skyrim. I found the normal Data folder deep inside my Photos folder for some reason. Uninstalled the mod, TCM'd out of the tree i got stuck in somehow and installed the mod again. Works perfectly. Sorry for taking your time.. Edited August 8, 2014 by draugrfartlord
