warlord3321
Hello There Guys. Well i am back to skyrim with my old saves file. Before when i used to play i remember that i have installed a multiple marriage mod. So anyway i installed all dlc too as well this time but now i am having strange problem with marriage. When i purpose to serana or any other npc. They say yes etc then i go to temple to arrange the marriage and here the bug start. Marriage ceremony never starts. Also i was already married to elsif the fair using mutli marriage mod. But i never used that anywhere else. So i break it off with elsif too but still the same problem Ceremony never starts !!! And one more thing when i load a very old save game in which i was not married to anyone it works prefectly then But i don't wanna play from that save game becox it was a starting one.And sorry for my bad Englishplease bear with me Thanks :)
notmyhome
Wait, you're playing with saves from pre-DLC times? And probably mods from back then too? No chance this is going to work if you start throwing in stuff like Skyrim updates and modern mods. That save's probably toast.

And i tested a old save game where i was never married. And that works with no problem So i think problem is multimarriage mod Got no idea how to fix it. :(
notmyhome
I think I've heard of *one* outdated Multiple Marriage Mod not being compatible with Hearthfire. But I'm not sure if that's the one you're using.

MysteriousSquall
The suggestion is pretty much unanimous dude. If you're updating your game and using save files pre-update, then you need to start a new. your save data will have script files from the old marriage mod still saved in it. Not only that but alot of things have changed since the updates. That being said I'm not one to tell you to start over without giving you a test to try out. 1) Disable all Marriage Mods via NMM. You could even go as far as uninstalling them. 2) Load your save file and divorce/ use console to remove any marriages you may have (google how to do this). 3) Wait 48 Hours in game and then save to a new slot. 4) Reinstall/Reactivate your UPDATED marriage mod. 5) Attempt to get married. If these steps don't work. Then you are going to have to start again and not with any of the old saves. Unfortunatly what you are trying do isn't plausible, so if you want the updates then you may have to suck it up and restart the game. Which let's face it Skyrim isn't exactly a bad game to start again on and the game becomes boring once you're all super duper almighty dragonborn. Anyway I hope it works out for you dude. And Yes one more thing bro I loaded a very old save game in which i was never married and never used mutlimarrige mod too and all mod&updates were enable But it worked prefect then So my bet it is got something to do with multi marriage mod.
