FOWE being my Foe again

I went thru many metros, other ones, and found on the steps a sort of snow pile's in the corner of the steps.

But, as long as there is an error and it is not visible to me, I won't waste any more time on it, it's not my mod. I used the geck to delete the whole 9 yards of that area and the geck just crashes.

 

tried what you said and NO go. there should never be outside materials placed inside tunnels or vaults. So, the only thing I can think of that would cause it is data from the mesh folder or textures folder ,when I removed the whole folders out of the data path, the geck would now load that area with the mod installed. so the data it is referencing is bad, how and in what way ? don't care. it's not correct and it's not mine to worry about it.

 

all the tools say it's ok. the game just say's NOPE !. the GECK says NOPE !...so chase my tail or go do something else a lot more fun.

 

That's the one thing I haven't liked about it and the LOD images been working on a revamp.

this can be done over and in different ways. to give you a clue.....

 

usage:

1 - duplicate an existing tree in the geck with a cherry tree like bark texture (sry i didnt find a way yet to add new bark textures)

2 - click edit under "SPT file" and ssign the Jcherrytree.spt (trees\Jcherrytree.spt)

3 - click edit under "leaf texture" and assign Jcherryblossom.dds (textures\trees\leaves\Jcherryblossom.dds)

4 - underneath the "Speed Tree Seed" field enter a random number and hit "ADD", do so a few times, this will allow the tree to generate random shapes

5 - place your new cherry trees somewhere in the world :)

Now, listen up, this is the correct way to do tree's ,all my tree's use "ZERO" textures or mesh files, they can if I point to them which would mean more data added on but its' not required for "speed seeding".

 

the tree's need no LOD's, the Environment for them does. If you doubt this? look at my gallery here, and if that is not enough, I can give you my personal mod I made a long time ago and never uploaded it. tree's? and zero hits on the system. under 1 MB, 1 esp file, that s it.

 

can't be done in esm format with out Unique name changes of every tree in the game.

Based on removing the texture resources that came with all 3 Parts for the FOWE mod, I was surprised to find this in the interior areas !--->

So...that means the patch? or both are not finalized as was the beginning, sense I deleted the first one 3 day's ago, I have to re-Run the procedure on it, but with out the textures and mesh files....now, the weird thing is ,Why are there any Winterized data on an interior of the vaults? this should not be here.

Wow I have not managed that feat yet XD. Looks like the street litter object he applied an ice texture to which I removed and reverted back to vanilla for now. I commend his hard work and effort but it was rushed. That's the most labor intensive part of immersion for this mod as I stated. It needs duplicated items with the snow textures applied to replace all the exterior objects leaving the interior vanilla objects alone. I have not started this procedure yet mainly because I don't think I have it in me XD

Nah not part of Fowe for some odd reason everytime I unticked it in fomm and launched with fose then exited the game it would be reticked when I launch fomm again

where ever IT came from? get rid of it ,I have no plugin here for stealth armor, and it is full activated....ALL the time, even stark naked and there is no way to shut it off .so, even if I don't have the source, it's code is Embedded into the saved game for ever.

 

I don't do not run FOSE, and I do not intend to any time soon.

I deleted all statics, World-spaces, Cells ,anything that points to the world areas except weather ,I have normal game, NO snow, No buildings white out, just plain old fallout3 and that's with all the textures and mesh files from this mod installed. they are NOT loading at all.....which they should even with out any plugin.

 

So textures and mesh files are off the hook, they are not at fault. the bug is built into the plugin hands down.

I have not read up on most of the requirements, does this mod require "FOSE" ?

ok, I gave it up , am done messing around with the winter Edition. Knowing I can't fix it means there is no fix for it.

 

I tried a few other saved games from other profiles.

 

It does not matter, the geck is what really matters, if that can not be accessed in a normal GECK ,then GECK power up was used to produce the mod ,that means FOSE was used in it's Encoding. there you have it. Possible Ported data? Just done here with it, I deleted the whole darn thing, got it off my hard drive.

 

some places look like a beach? smooth sand.....just not real, for me, it breaks down too many things.
