Yeah I mentioned going in and adding the icelake to all the water he tried making ice. Was thinking how interesting it would be to add a script effect to cause ragdoll chance while running on ice XD lower chance walking, no chance crouching. How would a collision mesh act with npc's walking over it with a navmesh much lower than the it? I can raise a navmesh np. Quite familiar with navmeshing int./ext.

ok, outside hubris comics metro exit, there is a lake, mutant, and an ambush, a lot of activity, there , isa lake or sort of, that appears like what we are discussing.

in xedit.....any version. .run this number please. (05007334) when it pops up, read the data on the right side. double click the ref tab or the string at the top. you get this (Landscape\Lake\DLCAnchIceLake.NIF) <-- That ! is what is required, along with all data involved any where you place "icelake.nif at.

"useinfo"

now, the location you sent me too, I can not even get near without crashing out. that whole area is just dead space for me.

I tried an approach from the other side, bed and breakfast location. heading back toward megaton / vault 101, I come up on a ridge, looking down into the vallly, I see NO water anywhere. But It look like I might have to load the Full version I did last week in stead of the raw esp as is, that one I did is full nav-meshed world wide. way different. but at least it is one way I can test it.

Good afternoon Kitty! Looked through the images. The only thing I encountered missing from his files was the dlcanchicelake02.nif he had linked to creekwater2048x2048 the spot that looks like the image you posted about missing textures. So you must have found something new. Second I couldn't help but notice there is no associated model with creekwater2048 now, is this why you are crashing in that area?

that is correct. but also, a event due to this effects other models as they load, they are loading out of sequence, as they load"out of sequence" the ram usage goes through the roof! and that means I run out of ram, it is so fast here on my machine the game just simply shuts off, I look and see all my hard-drive space is used up, this folder has duplicated copies of the temp folders crashing data from the game.(C:\Users\purr4me\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER) two of each over 2 gig's in size. Nie huh. all over one small, bug. forgotten wasted things.

the thought occurred to me. "They won't notice it's missing or even if it's needed"

And I wonder if they or he even knew about this? I think maybe not or was distracted and the problem never came up?

A bug is a bug, step on it. kill it, and go on. So. I am here , loading up other hard drives so I can move out all my Valued data and prepare to wipe the drive. Why? because the system keeps an image of this data, een the garbage data in a secured folder and hides it.

If you were to run a systems restore? this garbage gets put right back on the drive, where it then causes no end of madness.

I have NO grey hairs.....yet !....calm, cool and collected data, piece of mind, and we move on.

I'll load all this back on at a later date. I won't for get where I am at.

I will use the lake bed you pointed out as a test bed location seeing how it is another sore spot in the mod.

It needs to be fixed first by extensions. plugin bellow it ,thin a test of integration and tested ,then once all this is done, and is valid, esmify it and test some more. that comes much later. on the root of the games or even the har drive, you need to make a sample source directory from using the geck 'Loading" a world space will produce the right data and correctly post in in the right spot.

that folder must contain not only all of these files in it, it must also contain EGM extensions files of the exact size and match them.

Why? to do a full world space grid and lock all the data into place so when and if we esmify the code, all thing lay natural and are using it';'s resources and not Vanilla data.

but later.

Why am I not encountering this issue? my WER folder has nothing remotely of that size ERC folder with 1.31mb, ReportArchive folder with 2.51 and ReportQueue folder with 497kb. Might be better to make a completely new winter mod XD

Thanks and take a break Kitty! The bone will still be there XD

I use a lot of computer power, so I have a lot going on. I am also using monitoring software to watch for Ehem....bug's of another kind ...finding their way in.

This PC has many Profiles, logged on Profiles, so there is an Immense amount of cross activity as I use only one directory for the game ,one

reason it's so large is because In stalled only this mod directly into the games data. I use a swap file too, but too much stuff running has it's drawbacks.

I'm used to it. Normally, this does not occur, but when things go badly during game run time? this does happen, and I am for one thing, doing a hell of a lot more than you are, I do things Hot, Live ,while the game is running, I run the geck Hot while the game is running, I change things Hot while the game is running, I don't wait for changes to occur over time. I do it right now, on the spot, and hot.

So ..yeah, am gonna run out of hard drive space when I do things like this and make mistakes. That's how we learn the limits of the game.

Most of the time No, it does not occur. But. running land maps and nav meshing during game runtime can cause a lot of data to pile up rather fast.

I fill up 32gig's of virtual ram, and 16 gig's of hardware ram pretty quick., but then when I am finished with a product, there is no foot print to speak of.

@.@ Overlord Kitty I shall obey! For some reason I imagine several linked monitors, several external built PC's, flashing lights, a hunchback assistant, plasma globes, tesla coils sparking in the background and you at the helm of the master control keyboard going into mod madness lol. Awesome stuff!
