Can't login to wiki.tesnexus.com

Hi, I'm having some problems logging into the wiki site. I've used the same credentials I use on this forum and I get a "login error" message saying my password is incorrect.

 

Do I need to create an account on the wiki somewhere? I couldn't find a link for that. I've never logged into the wiki before, but I'd like to create a new page for some XCom modding stuff.

 

I have logged out of the forum site and logged back in again to make sure the password I'm using on the forums is correct, and everything is working fine on the forums.

I just logged into the wiki with my normal Nexus username and password, through both wiki.nexusmods.com and wiki.tesnexus.com. It took a while -- maybe 30 seconds or more (I wasn't counting) -- for the wiki to actually log me in, though.

Is your password perhaps rather unusual or 'special' in a way?

I just tried it myself as well with my usual credentials, and it logged me in fine.

So the next thing coming into mind is different requirements for what is an allowed password on both frameworks.

 

The wiki is yet another different platform than the forums and the sites, and just like it's the case for sites and forums already,

it cannot be expected of their passwords to underly the exact same requirements as on any other platform.

If for example the Nexus sites and forum allow certain special characters but the wiki does not, then you have an issue.

Aha. The problem did seem to be that I had special characters in my password. I changed it from the forgot password link and was able to log in to the wiki. Thanks for the help!
