LE Lost to the Ages quest fix?

Lost to the Ages quest has many bugs, one of the infamous ones is the quest not starting. Someone should find a way to start the quests without reading Aetherium Wars?

There is a way to start it without reading. Go to Arkngthamz and talk to the ghost girl.

Tried that, it did not start the quest and the journal was not found on her body. In addition, when I got to the shard, it was still labelled Glowing shard instead of Aethrium shard. So as a result, the quest was entirely broken for me.

Do you have any of the Unofficial Patches for Skyrim and Dawnguard and if you have Dragonborn and Hearthfire

I have the Unofficial patches for Skyrim and Dawnguard, but I didn't install the Unofficial patches for Dragonborn and Hearthfire. Since you mentioned it, does installing patches with Dragonborn and Hearthfire make a difference?

I have all the dlcs. What kind of a huge difference does it pose? Like how is Dragonborn and Hearthfire patches related to Dawnguard?

It's good to have all the patches as they fix bugs from the previous DLC patches.

Okay it did not not change anything at all, still no quest start, no journal on Katria's body, and no shard name change....
