Fonger
Did you completely uninstall OBGE, not just the plugin? I removed the DLL file, i thought it was enough.Installation/Usage From the Nexus page, download the OBGEv2 package, the Support Plugin, and any updated shaders there. Also download any extra/updated shaders that are hosted elsewhere, using the above links. To install everything, use the following procedure: 1. Decompress the downloaded packages using 7-zip or any compatible alternative.2. Move the data directory in the OBGEv2 package to your Oblivion directory. Answer yes to any merge or overwrite prompts.3. Move the contents of the Support Plugin package to your Oblivion/Data directory. Answer yes to any merge or overwrite prompts.4. Copy any additional shaders' .fx files to your Oblivion/Data/Shaders directory, answering yes to any overwrite prompts.5. Activate the Oblivion Graphics Extender Support.esp in the mod loader of your choice.so there's quite alot more involved in removing it.since there's alot more involved than a single dll in installing it. you might need to do a full ininstall and reinstall especially since the problem persists. Miq
I removed the ESP as well, and now i have removed all other files in the data folder that came with oblivion graphics extender. No results. As for other mods, only one i have enabled right now is DarknifiedUI because oblivion crashes if i launch without it. I had more but they are all disabled currently. I remember reading on a page of a mod that it will disable ripples forever or something, but i never got that mod. I found that mod when googling for a solution. Tomlong54210
Some meshes may not have ripples. I wish I had a setup with which I could verify that this is not the default behavior for you. I wonder if the Unofficial Oblivion Patch fixes this... Water meshes and objects are kind of special, so this is probably beyond my level of understanding. Sorry, maybe someone else can check this for you.
Miq
Well thank you for your help anyways, i will try a clean install and see how that turns out. Edit: Well this is odd, same thing happens on a clean install, i must have just not noticed this before. Iguess il just live with it, the ripple problem isnt as bad as the transparency one, and that was fixed.

melkormgc
I do have the same exact problem. How can I get the ripples back? (Yes, removing obge dll does solve the transparency issue, but I really like the ripples :( ) Thanks on advance for all the help! FOUND IT! It's the Water Reflection Blur mod that causes this. It is even on the official thread: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/111341-water-reflection-blur/page__st__20__p__2346551#entry2346551 Edited December 6, 2010 by melkormgc
