Simple GECK issue

At least I hope it's simple. It's actually rather quite annoying than most might think - in the View tab, "Markers", whether ticked or un-ticked, the Markers in the Render window do not hide. Is there any solution to this? It's quite annoying to work with Markers on. It doesn't hadn't done this before.

Thanks for any help.

M is the hotkey to cycle through the markers being unselectable/hidden/selectable, press F5 to refresh the render window to bring back hidden stuff if it won't come back.

By pressing M, all these Markers would disappear -

Even after pressing F5, the Markers continue to show.

If you could answer that question as well as this one...

I'm loading all the DLC and working on my active file, a lot of the times, my GECK is crashing by not responding and never responding again. Any way to prevent this?

Thanks again.

Also, whenever I scroll, sometimes, everything just disappears in my scrolling path.

A few things you can do, patch the geck.exe with the nt-core 4GB enabler app (google it), set compatibility mode for geck.exe to Vista SP2, and run as admin.

In the ini set multibounds = 0.

F5 is working correctly, when pressing it it refreshes the window to show everything again.

If you have an ENB installed, uninstall it.

To fix the marker issue go to Documents/my games/Fallout New Vegas/ GECKcustom.ini open it and look for bUseMultibounds=1 change it to bUseMultibounds=0. This will fix the markers not hiding, the havok engine and, fix the issue with some cells not loading.

Note, some cells that do use multibounds will crash the GECK and you'll have to revert back to bUseMultibounes=1 to view or edit those cells. One such cell is Lucky38world the one with the penthouse and, cocktail lounge.

as fare as the GECK crashing when loading all DLC, did you set the use multiple masters in the GECKcustom.ini?

Not sure about the scroll issue.

You can actually use NVAC with the GECK and it will prevent the Lucky38 multibound crash as well as others. I can't remember how to set it up for use with the GECK right now, and the page is under moderation for some reason today.

Really? I didn't find anything about using NVAC with the GECK.

Yes, I did set it to use multiple masters. I just wanted to be able to have all the items in my reach. Would this be the main causes of my crash?

I did this, thank you! I will go ahead and try it.
