Elven Map Redux Trouble

Hello!

I'm currently using the Oblivion Color Map Mod v 1.1, but I'm trying to get the Elven Map Redux to work properly to no avail. I first copied everything into the textures folder, then I saw I had the option of doing that or copying the text into my ArchiveInvalidation text doc.(Didn't seem to matter) I had at first done both, booted Oblivion, no Elven Redux Map :sad: , just the Color Map v1.1 still. Does the Redux & Map Mod v1.1 conflict? I disabled the v1.1, to see if that would make the Redux mod engage, but I reverted back to the old school vanilla map. Interestingly enough, I do have the map marker icons for Redux working good & decently, just not the color Elven map. Any help or suggestions??

Yes, two mods that do exactly the same thing would most definitely conflict. Did you remove the textures and any other files that came with the Color Map first?

 

Remove the files belonging to Color Map completely from the data folder then install Elven Map Redux. If you're using some form of archive invalidation like OBMM you don't need a text file. It's the map I use so I know it works.

For some reason And I haven't added any items that conflict with it but then when I start the game and go to my map nothing is there it is literally nothing if I move my mouse around it will show the names but I can't see that map it is quite hard to explain but there is nothing I just see the back of my inventory I installed it with OMM then manually but it still shows up blank I even deleted those files and it still WON'T show even with Elven Map Redux removed it shows nothing so can someone help
