Hello wastelanders. I wasn't too sure whether or not a topic like this would belong in this section or another.

I'm on PC - I was wondering if there was any way to change the animation that plays out when pressing the "W" key to trek forward. Instead of using the RUNNINGhttp://savingsslider-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.pnganimation, are there any tweaks/modifications that could let the player walk like NPCs do? I know you can do this on consoles with a slight force on the left analog stick. I would actually like for this tweak to affect every NPC in the game universally.

I understand the "player.setav speedmult" & "player.setgs fmoverunmult" console commands can slow/speed up characters' rates, but velocity is not what I'm striving for.. it is the animation. Are there any mods/tweaks that can disable the RUNNINGhttp://savingsslider-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png animation, and replace it with the walking animation?

Thanks in advance, friends

Thanks so much - I'm new to these shortcuts. I'm glad I have the player character walking, and wow, that was pretty easy haha

Is there a way I can disable the running animation within NPCs as well?(I don't mind if that means I'll have to disable the running animation universally).

Not sure of NPC's many have Run to in there packages and are intended to run. Followers will start to run only if the player gets to far away from then and they run to catch up.

Yeah, I have the Sharing & Caring Companions Mod so I'd made a follower of my own. I'm trying to make a Fallout video and this scene will be of the character walking. As you'd mentioned, when I get too far ahead, the follower starts to run. Is there any way I could break down into an NPC's package and modify it so that his/her most rapid movement is walking?

It looks as if the GECK's .kf files within the NPC tab is where all of the character animations are. I'm wondering, would it be possible to delete a .kf file from the GECK?
