Crash on New Game / Load

I think you should install the UOP as well, but are these the only mods you are using, these mods with plugins? Are you using a UI mod? This should not be crashing. This problem might not be mod related. The only other "invisible" requirement is using the 1.2.0416 version of Oblivion. FCOM is installed correctly. Are you using the regular version of DLCFrostcrag and not Frostcrag reborn. Can you load just the FCOM setup successfully: the Fran, MMM, OOO and FCOM ESPs? If not, post your Dxdiag.

I have no other mods, I approached Oblivion as a returning player from before any of the dlc came out, and now I wanted to see what some of the better mod packages would do to the game. The other stuff (Flora, Living Economy) came with the 1.33 OoO install, but I've deleted it on your advice. I'm using the regular Frostcrag.

 

Alright, so next deactivate all plugins except those 4 esps?

 

Edit: Effectively that meant I was just supposed to deactivate the UOP for SI and all DLC except the Knights.esp, since those are the only plugins that are not a part of FCOM right?

Not 4 ESPs. I am saying try to run just the basic FCOM install.

 

 

Edit: Make sure you have DirectX 9.0c installed. I do not know how you have been going about installing these things... Since you misunderstood me before, run the following:

Do not just delete. Uninstall all mods outside of the ones listed above.

Could you post your updated basic load order, the one with MMM 3.7b3 installed. Make sure you have no other mods installed.

IIRC you need to install the UOP MOBS variant when using FCOM, the regular version of the UOP will cause problems.

Using the non-MOBS version is immersion (consistency) breaking, not game breaking. How come every FCOM setup I have looked at today is broken...grrr... Anyway, I think you should try starting over (entirely) following that guide I posted.
