Dark Things

just to give you a better idea of where you are, I am going to tell you a bit more detail about the island. The ilsand is really 4 small islands. The most eastern one has the capital city on it, an Eastern port. Directly outside of the city is dense forest, and a good 50 miles south it turns into mountains, then plains. The middle Island is all plains, except the northern 8th. It only has one city on it, Inbetween the plains and the forest. The most western one Is full of mountains, with the occaisonal forest. The Temple to Molag Bal is sitting on top of an extremely high (about 23,000 ft) mountain, which is mostly just flat walls of rock. Near impossible to climb. The dwemer ruin is on a stretch of bare, dead earth, surrounded by a forest. Those three Islands are vertical, right next to each other. The last one is horizontal, laying on top of the other three. On it's westen side is a small desert type region, and it turns more mountainous as you go east. Worship of Daedra, ANY Daedra, are accepted on this island. It is said that the coming Governor is a worshipper of Sheograth himself. Though It is technically under Imperial control, It has managed to keep iself out of Imperial Politics.

Just to make this place a little more clear...

Decideing none of the staff are acceptable, Akkli grabs a few scroll of elemental: fire burst and mark and recall(or the equivalent of it on this island). Then heads up to the garrison again and asks for a copy of a map of the island. once given it he heads back to his room, locks it, and begins to study the map.

Akkli and Alenee's study of the maps hold no 'startling revelation'. The island is simple, nothing odd about it.

OOC:I am that is Matthias: you are in the arnory. your armor was probably sold to a lcoal smithy. They don't have glass armor, but they do have that odd wood armor, which I swear, you will like a lot more than glass.

After having grabbed an afternoon siesta Simonaefura stomps out the few remaining glowing embers and packs up all of her equipment. Concealing her armor within the confines of her cloak she starts to wander around the area, scouting for caves and tombs that might provide some answers to the recent threat.

As Simonaefura wanders around, sh finds nothing but egg mines. As she heads more south, the ground becomes rockier, more dead. She happens upon the occaisonal ebony and diamond mine. After a good five hours of hiking, she comes upon a large mountain range, completely impassible except for one narrow and dangerous pass

There are no caravans heading west, but Akkli overhears some sailors saying that their ship is leaving for the Northwest tomorrow.

OOC: this looks like a good rp, its a bit too late for me to get into it, so ill be content with reading, but i have a few comments.

one of the things that ruins rps is details, ppl dont remember em, and it shows, im guilty myself, in a number of rps, but i do me best, and also it ruins an rp when the characters do impossible things like...

when shadow was being hauled off for stealing the gold, if im not mistaken, two guards where dragging him, so somehow he manages to overcome one ( remember he does have a broken wrist), plus then he manages to slit one of thier throats, and then somehow runs off and shimmies up a chimmney with a broken wrist, wearing full armour, and with a daedric bow+ arrows on his back.

then he murders guards, by shooting a bow, with a broken wrist.

im not picking on matthias, his rping was just a good example.

ok that said, plez keep this rp going, its really good so far!

As Alenee's vision clears, she looks at the weapon more carefully. Oddly, whatever produced the smoke seems to have disappeared completely. Cursing softly in annoyance, she wraps the sword carefully in a scrap of cloth, then places it into her cloak. Guessing that there is little more to learn here, she gathers up the rest of her equipment and walks down to the kitchen. A little persuasion, and a bit of gold get her a few days worth of food. Her years of experience exploring dwemer ruins convinces her to try that possiblity first, so she leaves town headed northeast. She walks just off the road, carefully using the forest to cover her movements.
