FatalIllusion
Hello nexus team! I'd like to know, before doing anything that would break our site's rules, if I am allowed to upload a file that fixes many errors in the original italian translation of fallout and TES games. JimboUK
If you made the file then yes, if it's someone elses creation then no.

JimboUK
Well yeah, that's what the site is here for.
FatalIllusion
Well yeah, that's what the site is here for. I asked because there have been always problems concerning mod translations, and, since this is not a mod, as it is the original game text, whose rights belong to Bethesda Game Studios, I prefer to ask in order to prevent any kind of misunderstanding. Thank you, jim_uk!
Thandal
jim_uk is correct, as long as what you upload is your own original work there's no problem. (Note that, if I understand you correctly, this *is* a mod. It provides the means to "modify" the vanilla game in a way that you think makes the game better. I assume by properly referencing material that is already included in the game. That's what "mods' are all about!) There are only problems if what you upload is NOT your own work, but rather is the game's unmodified files.

The files I upload have .esp format and depends by original game master files, so there shouldn't be problems!

Thank you, jim_uk! Modding other peoples mods and uploading them without permission is the thing that lands people in trouble, modding the games own assets is fine, if it wasn't Bethesda wouldn't have given us the tools to do it with. Anyway have fun, from what I understand Bethesda's translations are terrible and will need a lot of work.

Well, italian translation for oblivion was one of the worst ever made in the videogames industry. Fallout 3 and New Vegas ones were better, but still far from "very good" (some dialogues were not understandable). Kkyrim italian translation was very good in my opinion, as it was translated by a professional team

I remember people complaining about the Spanish version, I didn't know the Italian one was that bad as well.
