doodle4art
Alright so I have the GOTY edition and apparently am NEVER supposed to touch the fallout-default.iniIn the Fallout 3 folder in My Documents/My Games there is a Fallout.ini that I think was created with the ArchiveInvalidation Invalidator, but as long as that file is in the folder my game won't start/ If I remove the .ini the game starts up just fine. So can anyone tell me how I can fix this problem and use these lovely mods?
phoneyLogic
All right dude, there seems to be a mod related problem. Yup, you're right, never ever touch the default Ini in your game folder. The one that is meant to be modified is the one in the said My Games folder. It wound be created by the Archive invalidation, but by running the default launcher. So delete the Fallout.ini in the My Games and start the launcher. The Ini will be recreated. Uncheck all your mods (if you have any, you should mention them) and launch Fallout again and again until you are certain that it actually works :D Now enable the Archive Invalidation and enable your mods in an proper load order one by one again. good luck
