AssassinWizard
I've picked Riften. What is your choice?
mlee3141
I agree. Its always been my favorite city, because of the stark contrast between the wealthy and poor there, as well as the Undercity that houses the Thieves Guild, a maze of sewers, and serves as Skyrim's "insane asylum" (Ratway Warrens). Plus, the scenery in the Rift is the most intriguing and diverse, and I always found it interesting the entire hold is on a giant plateau. Oh, and my main character lives on the border between the Rift and Eastmarch, so I guess Riften is his patron city. AssassinWizard
I don't understand why people choose exterior cities such as Falkreath or Winterhold instead of interior ones. Exterior cities don't look different much. They look like town-clones. For example, there aren't any major differences between Falkreath or Riverwood or there are no high buildings for Jarls in exterior cities. If Dawnstar and Falkreath haven't got Brotherhood Sanctuaries or Winterhold haven't got College of Winterhold, they would be worthless. It's weird. deRusett
I like Whiterun, because that is my main player home, because it is central so I can stop off and drop off and sell my goods when crossing the province. I DO wish Whiterun had a Riften like under city, and additional points of entry beyond the front gate and my cave leading into my house. But comparing all the cities Whiterun remains my favourite. bojanni
Well, i chose Falkreath, mostly because it is located in dense woods, well at least in my setup. I just like being there.
Orcarian17
Voted for Solitude. Capital of Skyrim, my home is there, and it's a nice city and really built on a creative spot.
Neehsen
chose Falkreath as well. I like to go hunting in the woods and all the trees make the area east of Falkreath seem bigger than it actually is. West of Falkreath you have these mountains that I haven't explored much yet so there is still a lot to discover for me.
notmyhome
Whiterun's got the only Jarl who I'd trust with the safety of my home, my wife, my children and shittons of Daedric artefacts.
calfurius
Solitude, my favorite race are the Imperials and I feel that place is the closest to imperial culture in Skyrim.
