new to mods. game works till choice of hardcore mode.

hello. I have added mods and tried till the game actually started up. then the game works till doc Mitchel's choice of hardcore mode or normal. I have nvse bot not the fomm. for some reason it sais incomplete when I try and download it. any help would be appreciated.

Try to correct your loadorder with Loot.

I would recommand to use mod organizer instead of FOMM or NMM.

Mod organizer is a little more complicated but you will find good tutorials about it by Gopher or GamerPoets.

ok. so I am using mod organizer now and have watched the tutorials. But now when I download from nmm sometimes when I double click to install. a screen comes up to try and mess with the data so it can work properly. mesh. install files. textures. things like that. I have been looking for a movie about seeing how to make these work...a how to.

This is quite easy just take the folder over the one with meshes textures and set it as data.

I dont know if there is a video about this but its pretty easy.

Xanlosh, you are telling him to use MO, an advanced tool, when he is clearly a beginner into modding. Don't do that :)

 

 

masterrubio - first of all, you probably installed your mods manually and somewhere screwed up. So you have to uninstall them, if you know how. IF now, a clean install of FNV would help. First, make a copy of your save files. Then, uninstall the game and delete the folder it was found in. Then install game back.

 

Install NMM or FOMM as mod manager, and download all mods straight to your mod manager. Then install mods from there, to make sure they install correctly.
