playplayj
Whenever I go to uninstall a mod, I get an error message asking me if I want to open up my TraceLogs. This isn't specified to one mod, this happens with all mods I try to uninstall and then it tells me that Nexus Mod Manager has stopped working. Any help? Valkasha
Strange, did you per chance do anything to the location the mods are installed? (the NMM mods folder) Like removing or altering the files in there manually?
playplayj
Not that I know of although I did manually install a mod for the first time since it was a mod that couldn't be installed with the manager Edit: Skyrim itself is running just fine Edited August 16, 2014 by playplayj
Deleted5770650User
One possible reason is that something has a lock of the files. NMM tends to crash when it cant delete or overwrite a file.
playplayj
And what would I do about that?
Deleted5770650User
If that is the case you could try restarting your PC.If restarting the PC does not work you need to track down what program is locking the files, and fix that.
Deleted12518053User
Probably too late, but I kept having this problem because I had my mods loaded up in TES5edit. As soon as a closed that I could uninstall without a hitch.
hardupooju
I find the NMM likes to crash when the files are being used by other programs, such as TES5Edit.
Doirion
well, for me, NMM just sits in a "queued" state until it hogs ALL my system resources, and never removes the mod(s) in question. Restarted the computer 3 times now, no luck. TE5Edit is not active. The ONLY way I have found that I can remove mods is to DELETE from Skyrim\data\<mod> AND from where NMM stores them. But that just leads to NMM going into a spazz and CTD every time I launch. If I uninstall NMM and reinstall, it just screws Skyrim up and gives me a CTD as soon as I launch. Love what they have done with NMM with 60.+
