SpellAndShield
I just realised something. In this alternative history, your hero dies but maybe Jory does not...which could mean that you can kill him...hehe. Now that could be fun, no?
brokenergy
Actually it is a good concept in my opinion and allows you to learn more about the darkspawn's military structure and culture before Awakening plus it is not really cannon so you don't have to worry. It is just something for fun and it is just situated around the final battle so around one or two hours of gameplay. There is nothing more about TDC that is said and BW is still on the patch so it is all okay. That been said I'm not buying until there is a patch for Awakening. ChaironDeCeleste
My only regret is that darkspawn chronicles is one of the things wich drew manpower from the work on patch 1.04. Edit: complete aol with Billy1969's statement.

ChaironDeCeleste
Well, it IS a rare opportunity for justifiable Blutruenstigkeit... Side with Morrigan at the circle of magi and elsewhere or Korgrim's Andraste cult and you'll quench your bloodthirst without paying an additional buck. http://grotto.moddersrealm.com/Smileys/classic/vampir.gif
brokenergy
@ ChaironDeCeleste: BioWare did not drew manpower away from patch 1.04, I think that is what most people think when they think of gaming companies that people under a division that they are all work together. Both the Awakening and the TDC DLC are run by different divisions as well, so the DA division of BW is split as well, in order save time and money as well as they don't exactly know each others game mechanics so they can't really help each other. Also it would take longer to patch 1.04 with more people working on it as they have constantly talk to each other if changing this code will affect the game. We need patience and just wait until the patch is released (most are console glitches and it will take a long time to transfer PC code to console). BW wants to release all patches at once so console players don't cry foul.
ChaironDeCeleste
Hence when is splitting companies into who knows how many divisions which know less and less about the end product with each new split not drawing manpower away. I've seen that in another company - the pc division simply assumed a reported bug could in no wayaffect the console while the console guys grasped for straws - result: months of delay. And that was just a byproduct of a single split... Anyway: playing the oc with open eyes allows many insights into the darkspawn's miitary organisation and culture. It is merely humanoid arrogance wich judges them to bemindless puppets of their twisted leaders.- I don't need to pay another buck for further confirmation and yet another chance to slay my favorite / best hated oc companions.
