I got to where Wernher is, killed the Raiders hold the captives, set them free, etc. Everytime I go back and talk to Wernher, he just says something to the effect of lets go. But he doesn't go anywhere. When I go into the tunnel with the rail cart, it says I can't use it yet. I've tried the kill and resurrect console commands, but can't seem to get the thing to reset. First time a quest never worked for me, so I'm not sure how to reset it or whatever either. If anybody has any idea about how to fix this, please help :nuke: Uninstalled the pitt DLC, tried to save (only to get ctd's when starting the game, then installed it again. Carrolj2 Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 That is sort of the problem. The quest never started when I left 101 Will the unofficial patch go with 1.7? Thats what I'm using now and I've never used the unofficial one. I don't want to create even more problems.. if possible. I realized earlier today that I have Werner's radio station, and I can hear the message, but the quest NEVER started... even when I left vault 101 and all the other DLC quests automatically started... I dunno I'm stumped. I personally think it fixes more things than it breaks. I haven't seen it break anything but it did fix a number of things for me but none of them game stopping. Anyway you can try using FO3Edit to create a merge patch. If one of your mods changed a needed value somewhere the merge patch might pick it back up. WOW! lol I had no idea it was so useful. I always used it to detect errors in my load order or whatnot, but I had no idea what it's true purpose was till I got a tutorial about it. ...but that's where it gets wierd. Wernher is being a stubborn little male without a father and only ever says "We've got to keep moving, there's not much time." I've even tried pushing him out of place, but he just runs back to one spot next to his makeshift bed. I don't know much about FO3edit, but I can see if I get the same errors as Carrol.
