  1. You could make a script in TES5Edit that removes all spells, perks, and powers from npcs. That would break the game but would be easy to do. hmmm maybe if you limited the removal to non protected and non essentials and also leave out any npcs with mage in their names. Oh and leave out vampires. hmmm maybe just do spells and leave perks and powers. That might prevent any game breaking spell removals.
  2. Hmmmm that isn't a bad idea. I think though I won't have to create a custom retexture if I only have one preset for the duplicated race. The good news is that I have used setrace before after my vampire mod switched my custom race to a nord because it couldn't deal with my custom race. When I did that my race was set back to exactly the way it was. I'll give it a try on my test game.
  3. There is succubus mod that has a transformation that gives you horns, wings, tail, and some powers. What I want to do is also have the player change to a red skin color on transformation and back to norm when you change back. I found the code where the horns and stuff are added and removed. Is there a function I could use to change the player's skin tone on transformation and back again when I revert back to human form? Or are there any mods you know of that temporarily change skin color that I could look at to see how they did it?
  4. I've been using it for months in SSE. It takes two minutes to port just look up a guide.
  5. There are different types of tags but spoiler tags looks like the below example but without the * [spoiler*] Text in spoiler [/spoiler*] This is what it looks like with the * removed Try using SSE Engine Fixes Double check you meet all mod requirements especial animation, armor and race mods. If you aren't already using loot, bash patch, merged patch or a smash patch you should be. Make sure all your mods are not in form 43 for oldrim. If none of that works I guess you'll have to uninstall mods until it works to figure out which mod is causing the problem.
  6. I have a couple of hundred hours using campfire with no problems from it. And over 300 mods made possible my merging plugins. If I'm not mistaken campfires scripts are on demand only. Considering what it does I don't see how it is possible for it to cause a crash consistently at certain point in the game unless the crash is triggered by using campfire at that point. In that case you would just not use campfire at that point in the game.
  7. Dirty plugins are plugins that have the exact same record as the master file. Sometimes this is done on purpose and will break the mod if cleaned. Most of the time this is done by mistake because Beth refuses to fix the CK that causes this just by opening a record. The only problem with dirty plugin is that it might change a record back to the vanilla value that another mod changed. Depending on what is being changed this can do virtually nothing, screw up a mod, or crash the game. If loot says a mod needs to be cleaned it probably does. There are exceptions though like the mod Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim. And there are a ton of mods loot doesn't say anything about that needs to be cleaned. Here is a real life example. I have a mod that changes the prisoner armor. A race mod had a dirty record for the prisoner armor that reverted the armor back to vanilla. I asked the mod author about it and they ended up removing the dirty record in a update. The only problem the dirty record caused me was the armor looked weired on my character. Also I was able to fix just by placing the armor mod under the race mod. However, now that the race mod has been cleaned I can place the armor mod anywhere .
  8. Well Renthal is a modder and his mods are already converted to SSE.
  9. load your mods into TES5Edit. If there is a problem with load order having to do with masters it will give you a error with the exact mods that is causing the problem.
  10. You should put mod lists in spoiler tags, it is considered bad form not to do this. Cleaning mods is easy. If I'm not mistaken LOOT points to a guide on how to do it but if it doesn't do youtube search for mod cleaning. The finale thing I'll say is you didn't give any details on your CTD. If you want someone to help you will need to give as much detail as possible. Where were these crashes, what were you doing during these crashes, what have you tried to fix it, that sort of thing be as detailed as possible.
  11. When setting up executables to run through MO2 you will see the check box there.
  12. Or download ASIS SE and copy the skyproc folder from its jar file. Then delete the skyproc folder from the jar file of this mod and replace it with the one from ASIS SE. You will then be able to run the patcher like normal without doing anything extra.
