FO3 Launch Crashes with FOSE / NMM after Steam Update

I'll try to keep this short. Running Steam FO3 GOTY, btw.
I have been using NMM 50 with FOSE installed for a long time now with no problems. I always launch FO3 thru NMM using the FOSE launch tab at the top. A few days ago I installed a new vid card, and when I launched as I always do, the Steam launch window came up. I exited the Steam window and started the game. It worked fine, but the wrong resolution. I use 1680x1050 and it was giving me 1280 x ??. I went into Steam and change the resolution to 1680 x 1050. Started using the FOSE tab again, and it ran fine.

Last night, I shut down the game and system. On starting the game this morning, it presented me with the same thing again, with the resolution thing. I did the same as before, but this time as NMM / FOSE was launching the game, it crashed. I tried to launch several times with the same results. I always have backups of MY Games Folder with Saves and the actual FO3 GAME folder itself, so I replaced the original ones with my backups. I still get the crash a few seconds into the load screen.

Any idea what is going on and how to fix it? Thx in advance.

You don't need Steam to run Fallout 3, so get it installed outside of Steam.

Since you added a video card, you need to run FalloutLauncher.exe so that the game recognizes your new video card and sets the in game resolutions. Once you get everything setup with the new card, you should not have any more problems.

No I wasn't using Steam to launch, I should have been more specific. Launching the game using the FOSE tab in NMM, the game launcher "mini" screen came up where you set the game / vid options. This is where I changed the resolution to 1680 / 1050. This is when the problem started with the crashing on launch, tho I don't know why.

I have been able to get the game working again, albeit there were a few things that were messed up. Some how (??) one of my plugins had changed in the load order, which may have been the cause of the crashing. ALL of my keyboard options had been reset to default. Just totally strange.
