wwcrusher Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 Okay I was installing Oblivion and I'm not sure if its right after the textures bsa file or what but a feature error came up for oblivion saying File: E:\data4.cabError: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error Can any one help me? Tomlong54210 Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 Try using your disc again. Sometime Oblivion takes up to 10 minutes to install. Another thing that can interfere with installation is bad burning software. If you have Nero or something you may want to uninstall (or upgrade) it. You can also try reinstalling your optical drive. Go into the Device Manager, uninstall it, then restart the computer, and let Install Wizard reinstall it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
