This is, of course, very true and is exactly what most people did in this case. One individual, at least, was caught unaware and ended up spammed with some 2000 ads (to quote him) which required a considerable clean up after the fact. The virus and malware makers count on catching the stupid or unwary Internet users to propagate their wares.
