cant change hairstyle

Hi!

 

I got a big problem here. I do not know what's causing this, but I cannot change my characters hairstyle or eyecolor. I tried to do so with "showracemenu", but as I said, it's not working.

The weird thing about this is, that if I want to change my actual characters hairstyle it works fine but if I change the race and then try to change it, it doesn't work.

Run your load order through BOSS. It could use some work... This issue is usually caused by overlapping cosmetic mods. If you have multiple mods that affect the same races, you should drop one of them. I highly recommend replacing the KT Custom race fix with the Unofficial Oblivion Patch as well. I do not recognize enough of your mods to be able to tell which mods are conflicting, but you can probably use the information I just gave you to solve your problem.

Hm I installed Unofficial Oblivion Patch and used BOSS, but I still cant change it.

I have this problem when creating new characters, I just open the console and save my progress then reload it and go back into the race menu which then lets me change the hair and eyes.

If this does not work, do you know which mods affect vanilla races in your LO? I know Robert's mod affects race, but ... I will elaborate on Floydian1's explanation a bit. Hopefully this works.

 

1) Use the "showracemenu" command

2) Make changes

3) Reopen the console (if you closed it)

4) Hit ESC and save

5) Reload the save you just made

 

I mention opening the ESC menu to make the save because I have been unable to use the console save command when in that menu.

Well actually when i opened the menu with showracemenu I couldn't change anything so i just opened it again (I didn't close the old one) and then I actually can change stuff.
