Mod configuration issues ( STEP CORE+SKYRE+LIGHTING MODS )

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, after over 2 hours of installing over 200 mods I run into problems that almost made me cry. Got issues with missing textures and lightning.

Every mod that needed tes5edit cleaning was cleaned as well as sorted by LOOT and all installed via MO.

Every mod was installed with exact STEP instructions yet as you can see on screens it doesn't look as it should:

And my loadorder from MO:

Anyone able to help?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Lighting mods I'm using are Enhanced Lights and FX and COT with weather patch.

I would start with disabling these:

Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-1.esp
Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-2.esp
Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-3.esp
Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Climates of Tamriel - lvl-4.esp
You have some COT interior options enabled. I would recommend not using them, because they dim the overall image (including fires). ELFX takes care of all interior lighting.

Disabled Lanters esp, and COT interior but its still really dark.

Any fix for missing textures? Using SMIM with many clutter improvements from STEP.

Missing textures as in you see only the purple meshes?

Aye, as you can see on screenshots attached:

I believe it might be due to MO way of installing mods, tho dunno how to address that.

Ok, I had this because I ran out of memory. I solved it using ENB boost. On the SMIM page in the description you'll find a guide in which order to install textures. Could help too.

Alright, it seems that the issue with lighting affects only interiors since outdoors look fine : http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/742/5rwQSC.jpg

And its not a vram problem since outdoors use only about 50 % of my 2gbvram card.

Also I followed that tutorial on MO:)

Yeah, it was not a VRAM issue but a system memory issue in my case. I would advise using ENBBoost nonetheless. Are your fires still dim inside? Textures don't simply go missing, especially not when using MO because it never literally overwrites anything.

Fixed the issue with lights. Thanks!

When following STEP guide it asked me to hide some texture files in few different mods and I think these might be the ones missing. Gonna try and unhide them now.:)
