I need the format for the "shaders.txt" file please.

Yes. I was really excited when I read that because that was the only thing I hadn't done yet lol but it didn't fix it. Everything appears to be installed correctly though... :(

You should drop a post in the official thread (linked in my first reply.) The BethSoft community responds fairly quickly. Include information about your OS, where you have Oblivion installed, OBSE and basically whatever steps you have taken, relative to OBGE. I guess you have the plugin installed too then?

Yes I do. I'm going to redownload every component and just reinstall everything from scratch. Now all I see even with all of my mods turned off is a black screen with a purple 1. All this mess just to alter the color saturation lol

Ok now I feel like a complete idiot. I've been messing with this thing entirely too long and I must've fried my brain. The "purple 1" was a test1.fx that I entered alone into my shaderlist.txt to confirm that it was working LOL Man I need to get some sleep lol But I'm not sure if the screen is supposed to be black with the test or if it's still doing what it's been doing.

Ok, latest update: I did a few things, I think it turning all my mods off and starting a new game for testing is what really did it, and now it kinda works. After downloading all new files, I turned on only what was needed to run OBGE and the support esm, and now key thing appears in my inventory and the scripts listed in my shaderlist.fx are accessible in-game. Now my only problem is that the changes I make do not manifest themselves in the slightest. I remember seeing this complaint in the comments section where I downloaded it, so I'll check there. Thanks for all your help, although it appears my loading order or other shader mods were the culprit.

You may need to reinitialize. There should be a way to do this in game. However, to do it manually, save without ScreenEffects installed, and then relaunch with it. You can try the same thing with the OBGE support plugin.

Edit: Clean saving forces it to reload with the changes you make. You are talking about changes to the shader file, right?

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. I messed with it some more today and everything's working great now. A few crashes here and there, and a texture blemish on occassion, but it's nothing I can't overlook. I'm very happy with this mod. Thanks for all your help. I'm gonna post some screenshots on my profile of the finished project as soon as I figure out how to take them lol Thanks again. :)

You are very welcome. If you want help with stability, I can offer that as well. If you check the "Optimization & Stabilization Links" section, toward the bottom of the opening post of my site's thread (second link in my sig) that should cover most of your Oblivion options for stability and optimization. Keeping your load order in good shape always helps too.

Load Ordering - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/finishinstall/loadorder <-- You can use the template on this page for help with placing BOSS's unknowns.

Happy gaming!
