Mod Recommendations

I'm reinstalling my Skyrim and I intend to actually start playing Skyrim again, so I'd like your input on what I should install. I'm looking for an immersive experience, and definitely difficult, but not anywhere near Requiem style play. My computer can handle most any mods you throw at it, but don't give me any graphic mod suggestions. I'm just going to play with a performance-light ENB, RLO, and the Lite version of Skyrim 2K so I can add on more gameplay mods. I have all the DLCs.

My current list of must-haves is this (+ the ones I just mentioned, unless you have a graphics mod you prefer to those you'd like to suggest):

INIGO

Unofficial Patches
SKSE

SkyUI

Live Another Life

Cloaks of Skyrim

Minimal HUD for Skyrim - unless you have a better HUD mod. Don't suggest iHUD, I love Gopher's mods but I need something with more customization. And not Less Intrusive HUD either, I've tried that to. Another mod with a lot of effort put into it, but it's just not for me.

Alright. So those are what I'm going to use no matter what. I also am not going to use SkyRe or Requiem, though if you have another overhaul you'd like to recommend I'll look at that. I'd like your opinions on what mods to use for the following:

Combat:

I'm leaning towards Ultimate Combat + TK Recoil here, but I'd like your opinions.

Retextures:

Probably going to go with aMidian Born Book of Silence for Armors and Weapons only, but if you have a better suggestion go ahead. I'm also looking for:

Retexes of Horses (which do you prefer?)

Retexes of eyes (which do you prefer?)

Retexes of faces (I'm looking at WSCO)

Immersion:

This is an important category for me. Any immersion mods you can think of - throw them at me. I'll take a look. I already have Frostfall, and I'm not playing a Hunter character, so no Hunterborn for me. No need to recommend Wet and Cold either.

Music:

What are your favorite music mods? I'm looking for a kind of Oblivion-like music soundtrack or two.

Stealth:

What are your favorite stealth overhauls?

Perks:

What perk mods would you recommend? I'm currently looking at Immersive Perks, since it I think it has potential. Not SPERG, I've tried that already. It wasn't bad, just not quite what I'm looking for.

Deleveling:

At least a somewhat deleveled world. I have been looking at SkyDie for this + some other hard stuff, but it might be a little over the top. Have you tried it? What do you think?

Mod Manager:

I currently have NMM. But I hear MO is really good. But I'm a modder, and I also hear modding with MO is more complex. Which do you recommend? If NMM had profiles, I'd choose it over MO any day, but... It doesn't.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

P.S. I like color-coding things... :whistling:

Not sure what kind of utility mods you like, but I have found these helpful:

Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix

Unread Books Glow

Static Objects

Savegame Manager

Glowing Ore Veins

Dragon Stalking Fix

Auto Unequip Ammo

Alternate Start - Live Another Life

Here are some that I use for added immersion:

SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators

More Stables

Fort Dawnguard No Cobwebs

Books Books Books

Command Dragon

The list is small, but I am also a newb to Skyrim. I have tried out a lot of house mods, but I'm not sure if you're into that kind of thing.

Thanks, I'll look at these. Not really into house mods, but thanks for the suggestion anyways.

Anybody else got any other suggestions?

Horses I would currently say Alienslof's (found on her website google AlienSlof) or Hale - Horse Retexture I would personally use Alienslof with Hale's manes and tails.

OBIS - Organized Bandits In Skyrim by Indigoblade as well as JobVanDam Tonycubed2 and Forzane

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31264/? // This Mod makes Bandits much more challenging in the game, You'll really need to plan and prepare to clear a bandit hold.

Piratelords Loot Adjustments by Piratelord

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17930/? // This mod makes all containers lootable and adds variety to loot so you don't have 100 cabbages after a few dungeons.

Enchanting Awakened by egocarib

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42796/? // I love hate this Enchanting mod. because it forces me to choose a side I must put perks into the mod to use anything enchanted and it totally nerfs super god crafting.

Deleveling:

P.S. I like color-coding things... :whistling:

SO I Bolded a few ideas in the quote, then I decided I don't like the organization as much as you do  so I'll just list off a few others I like

Bounty Gold by gorey666

// I like being a bounty hunter and as the levels get higher I want to be paid more. This gives a range based on the type of bounty. Killing a dragon can be worth it. or in my case where I have usually 4-6 Giants per Giant camp clearing a giant camp is a real task worth more than a couple 100 septims

Hidden Treasures by Ironman5000

// Reward yourself for being an explorer. Some 200 chests are hidden around the world and I can tell you having had this mod installed for a few play throughs and easily a combined 200 hours of play I've still only found maybe 40 of the chests. They have enough reward to make them worth finding, but not so much that you throw off balance if you find one when you're sub level 10.

Trade and Barter by kryptopyr

// Really enhance the buying/selling game, give merchants more gold. but give them more reasons to like/hate you as well If I forget to take my helmet off before approaching them it will cost me, More lucrative loot is best taken to cities as the small town guys wont have as much gold to spend and also wont see as much value.

Sometimes Pick Up Books by Mardoxx

// I hate reading skill books early on in game, really I'm not interested in reading much until I buy my first player house and have matured a little so I collect books and hide them away unread until I get a house and sit down and enjoy reading. helps me save skill books till later in game

If you are a mage

Immersive College of Winterhold by Grantyboy050

// Even if I am playing and trying to use as little magic as possible I love this mod. It makes the college much nicer plus when a dragon attacks the college it is way harder to kill it because it has less ground places to land.

EDIT Grrrr!!! It took away all my links, Sorry you'll have to search for the mods

I'm still looking for opinions on the combat overhauls and perks.

Why I don't see iNeed or Realistic Needs and Diseases on the List? Basic Needs is essential for any moddable Beth title I'd say. However, that's my list:

There's some new mods around, but they are cemented for my next game. For textures, I only use a decent eye replacer. All the blink blink tents to ruin your games peformance, specially because all of the Mods I'm using are more or less heavily script loaded. Take Notes, which lets you write your own journals in game, and Interesting NPC's are other essentials I'd say.
