Yes i use steamline, but i disabled it (and all my mods) to test, still 30 fps!

i got FCOM with some realism mods, and obge (removed also this one to test)

game version is 1.2 SI (lastest one) plus unofficial patches

Ok, i've spotted the problem

i was using sr Oblivion Stutter Remover which automatically sets the max frame to 30 and works only with OBSE

i changed the value in the osr INI and now i'm fine

Yes, you gotta read the entire readme for OSR before installing it.

also remember that Streamline has a function that can cause this too

so if you re-install Streamline, watch closely.

That would be the StreamSmooth feature. You can just turn it off, or set the max cap to the same thing you set in OSR.

SL.ini Tweaks - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/stabilization/streamline <-- There are other considerations to be aware of when setting up Streamline too...
