Broken Steel Ending Bug

so ive gotten to the end finally (epic btw) and i cant get fawkes to turn on the purifier and when either i

or paladin lyons starts it it just dumps me back to the menu after the end movie.

lol oops, check again re-updated it. no no custom races but i do have sharing and caring.

theres a mod to correct this? where?

Sounds stupid, but I had the same problem until I found out you don't just press the thing until the movie appears, you have to press in the numbers 2-1-2, if I remember right.

212... isnt it 216? and yes ive done that... it wouldnt let me otherwise. although i had to be a dick to sentinal lions to get the code from her (if it was mentioned earlier in the game i forgot or didnt find it. ill try 212 to see if it works, maybe...

no.... it doesnt work. i know its loaded, i got all the broken steel perks available and im level 30. id take off mods to see which one, but i dont know if it matter what save to use. ive been using a save INSIDE the routanda , right before i have to choose how to turn the purifier on and ive made this topic discriptive as possible without any PLEES HELP blah blah noob nonsense... *sigh* im getting the feeling im not gonna get any help and i should just play something else...
