BIG OBSE probloms

Ive been using OBSE and all my mods for a long time. Recentley i downloaded shivering isles for oblivoon ( non pirated ). And for some reason it is saying it does not recognize my version of oblivion. I downloaded the official patch for shivering isles after i got it ( i already had oblivion vanilla official patch ). The one thing that i think i might be is that during the SI official patch download it said it " didnt recognize " a file 2wice during download, but towards the end it still said i had got it updated. Any ideas? Please help.

 

EDIT - Ok i found out why it is not working with OBSE but i still have probloms with it. Its because my version was Direct2drive witch is not supported so i uninstalled shivering isles, it still seems to think i have it. How can i get it to recognize oblivion again i deleated all shivering isles things i found

re-install and this time install ONLY the SI 1.2.0416 patch.

ya.. uninstalled shivering isles like i said? and the reason OBSE wasnt working was because it was direct 2 drive i just need to figure out how to get OBSE to recognize my oblivion again because the direct2drive file made it not work.

Unfortunately, D2D added extra anti piracy to their version of Oblivion. That prevents third party programs such as OBSE from being used. Then a lot of pirates pirated the D2D version so many of the stolen versions will not work either. LOL

 

Look for a used copy of Oblivion at yard/garage sales, ebay, craigs list or similar places. You can also ask around, one of your friends may have a copy they are willing to part with.
