I need some help undoing some damage that DR5

Hi all,

 

Deadly reflex, when it works, is a hell of a lot of fun, either to augment combat realism or to add some hilarity to a dungeon crawl by virtue of ultragore. but it comes at a cost for me. for me, every time I land a melee hit, i get an assault charge, and Ive only just become aware of this fault. this is a problem. see, I fight a LOT of monsters, and over time the assault charge has stacked up to ridiculous levels, Ive gotten well beyond the payable bounty limit-I cant pay it off, and thus cant enter cities, even my own glenvar mercenaries come after me, joining the thieves guild isnt an option either, so i need to know a way of obliterating close to 2 million in bounty without having to pay it, go to jail, or face some other problematic consequence-this isnt a big issue on face value, but considering how massive the fine is, one million, nine-undred and eighty seven thousand gold, more than even I have, and how massive the jail sentance would be, and that this character cant go outlaw with its current equipment, which it cant change without going past guards, and that its my best build, i need some advice either for clearing it via console, or pointers to a mod that'l clear several hundred thousand assault charges.

I thought you were going to ask for a mod that reduced bounty over time toward the end there, but if you think you need to reduce a chunk quickly...

This is not normal. What other mods do you have?

 

You need to do that console command, save, quit the game, deactivate DR5, go back into the game, and save again. It's called a "Clean Save".

Please tell me you're using OBMM and you have DR5 at the very bottom of your load order.

It does not need to be at the very bottom of the LO anymore, and BOSS can take care of placing it. Do you have the DR hotfix installed? It is available at the bottom of Downloads on the main Nexus page, and you cannot miss it on the Downloads page of the OMOD.

ok, thanks a lot guys, problem solved; and it was at the very bottom of my load order, I had a look through my order of that day to see what could've caused it(I cant paste the whole load order, its kinda long) but the suspects are: OOO.133, sign of the wolf and crossbows of cyrodiil(I know that sounds odd, but it gives guards crossbows and the scripting to use them if threatened, it COULD have done it) also, though it wasnt on at the time, i did have legion_faction_mod a week before, and its ESP may have made some permanent changes

OOO is fine, but I am not sure about the other two. I do not recognize the second, and the third, crossbows, sounds like it could conflict, but I think users run them together. Anyway, post your load order here. Do you have the hotifx installed, as well as the latest version of OBSE? Seeing your LO might help as well. Are you using BOSS?
