Darkshadar
I have the mod Wanderers Edition and i chose the Alternative Start OUTCAST, so one question, How am i suppose to finish the game if the brotherhood of steel always attacks me no matter what i do????? They attack me becouse im an outcast, i changed my armor to disguise, waited days and days to see if they stop attacking but nothing works.... I dont see the point of making the alternative start OUTCAST if u cant continue the main story....
jet4571
The point would be to role play as an outcast and main story be damned. Also not all RPG games have an "ending" or that the main story should be the main part of the game, sometimes an alternate mode can avoid the main story and leave it up to your imagination as for what to do next. jet4571
Check the mods comment section for an answer. Most likely it is as simple as removing yourself from the outcast faction via consol. Player.removefac <Faction ID> would be the Skyrim console command but it should be the same for FO3 and I don't know the faction ID.
BlackRampage
Player.removefac I don't think that's a valid console command, actually. (for either Fo3 or Skyrim) The correct console command + faction ID: player.addtofaction 0001d3ff -1 (1 at the end adds the PC to the faction, -1 does the reverse)

I use it for a divorce mod. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console Expand all known console commands. RemoveFromFaction or Removefac AddToFaction or Addfac What you suggest doesn't actually remove the faction from the player but toggles it off and on and is used more for switching a faction off for a short period such as if you want an encampment or group to turn hostile for a short period. RemoveFromFaction or Removefac removes the faction altogether and is useful for setting up a mod for uninstall such as the Outcast faction. There could be an item you use that removes you from that faction so you can safely uninstall the mod. Edited August 31, 2014 by jet4571
BlackRampage
Lol, what happened to the quotations? True, I do indeed use it to toggle factions on and off. Didn't know about the RemoveFromFaction command. That's indeed a much better and cleaner choice when you intend to uninstall something (especially with Skyrim)And, as it turns out, both AddToFaction and RemoveFromFaction are valid commands for Fallout 3 too: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Gamebryo_console_commands_%28all%
