This time, for some reason too insane for me to understand, the Project Nevada Extra Settings HUD isn't being detected. I've rearranged the files, installed them in a certain order, added and removed mods, used LOOT, BOSS, FNVEdit, I've completely reinstalled the whole game, the HUD's still not getting detected! I've used a loadout similar to this one before, and it worked, so what's going on with this load order? M48A5 Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 It looks like another LOOT load order. Use BOSS to sort your load order. LOOT does not sort Fallout 3 or Fallout:New Vegas properly. Compatibility patches must load after the last mod they are patching. Project Nevada - EVE no DLC.esp, I think you have the DLCs, don't you? Project Nevada - EVE no GRA.esp, I think you have Gunrunners Arsenal, don't you? 163 files in your load order is too many. The game engine cannot handle that many and strange things start to happen. luthienanarion Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Mod indexes are represented by an 8-bit unsigned integer, whose value can range from 0 to 255. Index 255 is reserved for save game data, so the theoretical limit is 255 (0-254). That's only theoretical, because New Vegas has a bug in the engine that corrupts data in memory when you load more then 139. The practical limit is 139.
