Depth of Field fix anyone?

Ever heard of Qarl & Timeslips DOF ?, its the ultimate answer to the crappy looking distance lod, problem is most people cant get it work anymore what with increasing amount of ATI cards out there, it only seems to work if AA or HDR are disabled which a lot of us aren't prepared to do, (i have a hd4890) (the omod version works better on Nvidia drivers using nhancer to force AA) so i am requesting that some knowledgeable person (not me) to fix this, after all it would well be worth it.

Part of the problem is that very few if any modders know how to even work on something like this. Where the problem is and how it relates to the cards wouldn't be an easy thing to figure out, even with experience in similar issues.

The other part is that it's poor etiquette to work on someone else's mod, much less release another version.

Your best bet by far would be to contact the original author(s)- they already know the mod and where to find everything, know the technology involved very well, and can update their own mod without a problem.

look, Timeslip's/Qarl's DOF is old news...not even a viable approach to drag around a huge transparent ball... what's rocking right now is Scanti's Oblivion Graphics Extender

and besided a much better DOF that DOES work with HDR features a lot of other cool things like sun rays, SSAO and color effects.

All ready looked into that one , i believe you still have to disable aa to get the godrays working, ive also looked at enb series but that just killed my fps, anyway chaps thanks for the replies.

Its not godrays that messes with AA but the plugin itself. The way we exposed the Depth Buffer conflicts with AA. I believe Scanti has a fix for it in the newest release or you can use the AA shader by ShadeMe. Its better using OBGE's DoF than qarl's or ENB. Its faster, dynamic, and has a Distance Blur Setting. Just some food for thought.
