Am I the only one with questions in this game? It feels a bit like it.

Okay.

One, I do the quest for Umbarcano that takes me to Malada. I bump into a Khajiit who offers to help me if I give him half the reward. I agree and honour my side of the bargain. Later he is at the Roxey Inn and happily chats to me but is attacked by the Imperial Guard and killed.

Fine, I get about 300 arrows off the corpse but why was he attacked? He was drinking peacefully in the inn? A Redguard at the inn seems to have had something to do with it. Why? Who is he? What is his issue? The b****** Claude who set me up (also at the Roxey Inn) gets off scot free! This seems unfair!

Secondly the Ring of Omnipotence is found in the forgotten chest around Pale Pass. Okay, I find the first clue in the frozen barrel. How many other keys are there?

Thirdly, one feels sorry for the headless corpse in the lake by Fort Nikel (I forget the name but he has one) but who decapitated him? Suicide is a possible end for the poor *censored* but there are no slaughterfish in that lake to have decimated him. I want to know who done it? And who wants to know?

Answers on a postcard please.....

This is what it says in the players guide about the headless zombie:

At the edge of a pond just west of Fort Nikel (itself west of the Imperial City near the Red Ring Road), you'll see what appears at a distance to be the floating body of a headless zombie.

Get gloser and you'll see this Zombie has a name: Nath Dyer. On his body are three primrose leaves and a love letter - a unique cariation on a love letter you'll find at other locations in the game. Dyer concieved a passion for a woman (whose name is not revealed anywhere), asked permission to court her, and used the primrose as one might usea rose in the real world to call attention t oneself in a crowded room. We're guessing he was unsuccessful.

Note that there are 25 copies of four other love letters floating around in the game. Most of them are used simply for color. (The exception is the one in Oaken-Hull's house.)

I dont really get why he is floating there, maybe it is just a quirky thing that the people at Bethesda just wanted to do.

Is there anything to indicate that the attack on the poor kitten is supposed to happen, dialogue etc? If it just randomly happens - then it sounds like an AI error to me.
