So, I thought "Hey, I'll just go get some throw-- Oh yeah, they took my favorite weapon out of the game. That sucks."So I delt with it in the best way I could, and just found long weapons and tried to get over it. Well, I've beaten the game a few times, and I keep wanting to get a few throwing knives, and pelt stuff from a distance. I personally hate bows, never could aim them. So, I decided to ask for a script, or something, that'll let me throw the weapon I have equipped. I have noticed that damage can be done by moving objects colliding with something else. Such as the flail traps smacking me in the skull, so there's a start. I doubt the engine will allow for such a drastic function, but it never hurts to ask. What about durability? The best way would be the javelin in Diablo 2. Or so I think. But if someone does it it will be great. Idea: how about a "spell" that alters the grip of the dagger (and later on maybe a sword later on) that lets the character throw his weapon when attacking (the change of grip would merely be reversingthe model of the weapon, thus looking as if its held by the tip). I'd say that a spell would throw the weapon, not change the grip. That'd work FINE for me, since I use Imaginex's Tsuguri quite often, or the PH-CHAN mod, and the Great Knife. Now, for daggers and such, that'd work too, because there's nothing better than planting a glass dagger in someone's back when they think you're gonna heal yourself. Like I said, I don't know alot about the dynamics of the engine, and I don't even know if it's possible. I've got this great image in my head, my daedra leaping over a large rock, and bandits looking up as the hear me yell some gobpooe in daedra, and I throw my sword down, killing one of them, then beating the other to death with my fists, since I do take quite a fancy to punching things. SoulBlazer_87 Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 Personally I'd go with an unarmored (thanks to galerions true unarmored mod) High elf wielding Clouds Tsurugi, killing a guy, throw the sword to the archer then as the other bandit runs away, fry him, and calmly pick up my blade from the poor archer ahhhhhh I can dream can't I? I'd like someone to make a suit for me, but no one would, since they'd say it is made of both lose and fail. And anyway, I'm still kinda pissed that there's no Medium armor, so half-plate, which is considered a medium class armor isn't in the game, and I love half-plate.
