Oblivion Character Editor?

Is there such thing as an external utility that lets you change your character's race, resistances etc?

Please, don't say ShowRaceMenu, because the reason I'm asking is because I'm stuck in a glitch caused by a custom race that makes my game crash when I type this into the console.

I would also appreciate if there was another command, something like Player.SetRace Orc or something, just to get me out of the glitch

Thanks in advance ^_^

Is your glitch caused on a specific saved game? Have you added/removed a cosmetic mod recently? Does your female character have the tonsure hairstyle? If you answered yes to these three questions Show race menu fix php?id 4802 is exactly what you need. It allows you to edit your glitched saves, so you can use "show race menu" You may have a glitch caused by another mod. I still have a mod that let me play as Sheogorath. I never use the supplied race/ save with the mod and I do forget to deactivate it before changing races on my own game.

I recall reading about one mod that was a necromancer's shop, but it featured a buyable book that allowed you to change your character's appearance without the use of the console. Here you go... http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15446 ... if you don't mind downloading a necromancer's shop just to get the book then I suggest that. I hope it works out for you.

I have a feeling that book runs the same command line as ShowRaceMenu, but I'll give it a try

EDIT: My suspicions were correct :/
