Aikido animations

I would love some animations for the fairly recent art of Aikido. There are incredibly detailed diagrams available in book form; Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere.

I cannot find any such animations in the database.

As a practitioner of Aikido I've got to say this would be nice to see. And also very difficult to do (I'm new to modding and I mainly do edits in the CS) because of the amount of movement involved in the techniques

But, as an aikidoko (albeit only a lapsed yellow belt) I'd love to see it as well.

And the early 1900's (20th century) is fairly recent. The martial art is little over 100 years old as it stands today. Thats very new when compared to some of the others.

@ kieranfoy: FYI, the animated training gifs are on a page dedicated to self-study of Aikido. So you can get back into it, a bit..

 

Honestly, while the hand to hand animations would be awesome, I'd be happy with the Aikido weapon techniques for Oblivion.

As an animation somethin akin to the various 'dancing' mods out there then yeah I can see the potential (and if you an get someone to do this then brilliant). But as an actual H2H combat animation replacer or scripted commands for combat? As much as I'd love to Irimi-Nage Jauffre down the steps of Cloud Ruler Temple I dont think its possible.

He'd have to throw a punch, and I can't really imagine a way to do that, he's so even tempered.

 

Well... maybe if you suggested you'd slept with Uriel Septim's reanimated corpse, he might get the angry, but I doubt many necromancers practice Aikido.

I'm also an Aikido practitioner. I think more than anything else, it has to be the techniques (series of buttons while being attacked makes character perform ikkyou, kotegaeshi, tenchinage etc.) and also when you fall, having some sort of timed ukemi.
