CrogathiaKnight
If i ever want to make a new character, All the downloaded armors I've installed already that are up-to-date and all, aren't appearing for some strange reason on new characters. I'm not sure if this will work on new characters, but for example when i copy the uninstallation instructions from specific armors and weapons like the most Endorsed add-on, "Grey Warden Runic Armor", I unequipped everything and saved, then I disabled the downloadable content then force load. Once again, when i reinstalled any of these add-ons, the armors or weapons won't still appear whatsoever. Everything I do, it won't appear. It shows up that the downloadable content is enabled after i uninstalled and installed it again, but it's not appearing once I enable it.... Can anyone help me please on how to fix this problem? I don't know if there's a sticky thread on this and such, but I know that people probably are aware of this issue if they want to make a new character that can use add-on armors, weapons, shields, etc. from their characters in their other file saves that's been downloaded on here. tsibson
Maybe try creating a summon script with toolset for items rather than try to uninstall and reinstall. I've used this for items I've made myself to add them to inventory so it should work for other items?http://social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/Tutorial:_Adding_custom_items_to_custom_modules
SaturnC
Maybe you're having this problem, this is taken from the description on that armor mod page: ==================POSSIBLE PROBLEMS==================This mod in some rare cases may be not compatible with other mods, if you are using this mod with other mods, it's at your own risk. Also it may not work with some game versions - it is a possibility that items might not appear in your inventory if you are using steam version of patch 1.03. It's not a bug of this mod, it is a problem of your game or current patch and can not be fixed.
spets21
dude you can just unchecked all the new armor/weapon mods from the DLC , create new char... load your game , do a quick save exit - then check all the mods that you unchecked earlier you don't need to uninstall everything XD
CrogathiaKnight
dude you can just unchecked all the new armor/weapon mods from the DLC , create new char... load your game , do a quick save exit - then check all the mods that you unchecked earlier you don't need to uninstall everything XD  That's exactly what I did, no luck at all. And yes, also to the premium member who posted that I don't have the version 1.03, but I actually do. That's not the reason why the armor isn't working. This isn't the only armor that's not appearing, but various others. For the most part, I just really want this armor to work http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=566 <<<<<< I'm not getting this to appear at all Also, what steps do I need to follow without having to follow what the other guy said about having to install dragon age toolset(which i don't need) in order to add custom items to custom modules or whatever? Anybody care to help? I unchecked/disabled all the DLC i downloaded then forceloaded my current data, then save so that there aren't any problems, then saved, then enabled all the DLC. Afterwards, the armors, weapons, etc. i've downloaded won't appear whatsoever.

Once in the game, you save, exit and check everything you unchecked. If you have already made a character with everything checked you can check and uncheck, exit and force load until you are blue in the face and the armor/weapon will never show up for that character. Hope that clarified things.

I uncheck the mod in DLC, then start a new game, save and then check it and it doesn't work. The only way I got it to work was uninstall, remove all the files, and then remove all references to it in the "Documents\\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings\AddIns.XML" just to get it to work. That's why I suggested making a load script in Toolset to make it easier.

However, I still have a problem with the weapons and armors that i want to appear again that I've accidentl dropped or sold. Is there a way how I can get them again? I tried to disabled the content and reinstall, but the armor won't reappear. Can anyone help?
