MoonMe2
Could the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm be the cause? When I install the disc and click the .exe it just stalls, and does nothing. The 1.7 Official patch is already installed. I'm thinking of just re-installing the game from scratch and installing the DLC's right then and there. Here is my mod list. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance. unless your post needs significant clarificiation . . . since you don't run the game to install DLC it can't possibly be any mod you have installed therefore you have the usual second disk issue that's related to securom various solutions exist including 1 - turning off your firewall and anti-virus (obviously, disconnect from internet first) 2 - installing in "safe mode" (an operating system/boot-up function) 3 - sitting around for 2 days waiting for the disk to finally get through securom and actually do its job (yes it can take that long) 4 - uninstalling any disk simulating software on your system - securom issues 5 - time to google 6 - updating your DVD drive's firmware 7 - all of the above
MoonMe2
Thanks for the tips. I decided to just let the auto setup window pop up (which took about 20 min), then click the the installation exe. Sat down to watch some TV, and about a half hour later I turned to look at the progress and "what do you know". There it is, ready for me to start the installation. AND, It installed it directly to my data folder. (using Vista Home Premium). Anyway all is well now. Thanks again for the input.
