scrane27
Hi dear modding community, I was wondering if it existed any mods that could change color of enemies in HUD according to their level difference with the player character. Like it was in some MMOs like EverQuest. - Green color for trivial enemies: player is 10 or more level higher than the current target,- Light blue for enemies that are 9 to 5 level lower than the player,- Blue for enemies 4 to 2 level lower than the player,- White when then enemy is 1 level lower to 1 level higher than the player,- Yellow when the enemy is 2 or 3 level higher than the player,- Red when enemy is 4 level or more higher to the player. If not, is any modder interested in doing it ? It could be really useful to play with some overhaul like Requiem where enemy aren't scaled to your character. Thanks for your attention. Sjakal
+1 Bump of the Necromancer! I know it's been a few months since original post, but I wanted to encourage such a mod as well! Immersion is all well and good, but I really think something like the challenge rating color code would be very useful. Or, at minimum, a mod that prefixes enemy names with their level in the HUD. Without it, a casual player has no idea of how challenging an enemy is on first glance, since their character models or equipment look so similar. This bandit has 35 health and should be a cakewalk. This bandit has 320 health and will kick your a**. The casual player's only option is resorting to the Elder Scrolls Wiki articles and noting down creature and enemy names for future reference, but this is a poor alternative to having enemy level or challenge indicators, or even better: character models that are easier to gauge enemy difficulty from. Just my 2 cents. I would instantly endorse any mod that accomplishes one of the above, as long as the mod does not rename or otherwise alter existing creatures. The mod should be compatible with future unofficial mod content/creatures/enemies.
Mattiewagg
My WIP, IQ, while not having the exact same thing, WILL include a spell that allows you to target an enemy and see their stats and level. You can see a video of the spell on my channel, where I go by the same username. Edit: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fqXYDUl3zq8
Avastgard
Dwemer Goggles and Scouter adds equipment that does that (and many other stuff). The scouter has a function that makes enemies glow with different colors according to their level (compared to you). The level intervals can be adjusted on the MCM menu.
