prolovegirl Posted May 28, 2010 Share Posted May 28, 2010 I think what I need in this game is a little mark on the entrance of quest-related caves, ruins and forts, so that I can easily tell if it's quest-related. If it's not quest-related, I can go in as soon as I find it, but if it's quest-related I want to put it off until I've got the quest. David Brasher Posted May 29, 2010 Share Posted May 29, 2010 That is an interesting idea, but it might be considered immersion-breaking to some. Since there are many kinds of doors on many kinds of dungeons, there might need to be 15 kinds of doors marked. So instead of retexturing 15 doors, it might be better to create one decal, sort of like the blood decals. It would look like a symbol was painted on the door. There is a lot of information posted on the Internet about what dungeons are involved in what quests, and there are clues that can be gleaned by examining the objects in dungeons in the CS, but a person who made this mod might have difficulty in determining if a dungeon was completely unrelated to all quests or not. (Shadowbanish Wine and Ayleid Statues would not count as quests for the purposes of a mod like this.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
