Cyemmot Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 So here's the story. I had uninstalled Oblivion a while back. It was very heavily modded. Recently, I've gotten antsy to start playing it again, so I installed, modded, and tried to play it. CTDs abound, that was fun. I already had a feint idea of what I had done wrong in terms of mods, so I uninstalled it all again a second time and then did a clean install with just Oblivion's main file, Shivering Isle's main file, and and KOTN's main file. Testing this very base install, I'm getting the very same CTD! It always occurs right after the Bethesda screen, whether I let the entire thing play through or press esc to skip it. I play on Windows 7 Desktop (And had the last time I played Oblivion without trouble) with the GOTY edition of Oblivion. Help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
