Oblivion Crashes

Hey guys, I have come across a problem. Whenever I press play on the Oblivion Launcher it crashes immediately.

 

What should I do?

If your machine has never run this game

 

triple check that your system meets minimum requirements for this game

 

if it does

 

or if it has previously played this game

 

post your load order

 

after you have triple checked that you have no missing masters for your mods.

I have played this game before and my machine definitely meets requirements.

I'm not sure what the correct load order would be.

I notice you have a couple of let there be darkness esps, but since I can't see the whole name, I'm not sure if you should use only one. Oblivion crash in start happens mostly when mods conflict, if you haven't got wrye bash yet, get it. Any mod that has a red square in front of it (in wrye) might cause oblivion to crash, one of the solutions is to rebuild your bashed patch - you should also run your load order to boss from time to time (don't forget to place the unrecognized esps by hand). If you don't feel like doing the things I suggested, stop being lazy, or unistall any mods you installed recently. Also, you should post your LO through wrye. It's easier to read. Next time posting your LO, please make sure we can read the full esp name too.

oblivion xp requires OBSE

 

therefore you launch the game from the OBSE launcher not the Oblivion Launcher

 

sufficient to cause the crash.
